Making a Donation to The Abbott Library Foundation for the New Abbott Library:

Gifts of any amount are welcomed and appreciated. We have a goal to raise $1.3 million to build the New Abbott Library and every donation will help us reach that goal. Checks can be made out to The Abbott Library Foundation and sent with a pledge form to:

We are especially excited about a collaborative effort to name the circulation desk, a $30,000 naming opportunity, after Sharon Montambeault, a long-time librarian at Abbott Library. If you would like your gift to be counted towards this community-wide goal, please include a note either with your check or on the memo line of your check. We plan to place a plaque on the circulation desk that will read, “Given by the many friends of Sharon Montambeault” and we look forward to seeing Sharon working behind that desk for many years to come!

Pledges may be paid monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or annually. For those considering larger gifts, appreciated stock can make giving easier. The Foundation has a brokerage account set up to accept gifts of stock. Also, certain types of planned gifts, which usually provide the donor with life income and bequest intentions, may be included in the campaign. The Foundation is prepared to handle your preference.
